This week we talk about a bunch of different stuff. But don't worry, there is some tech and gaming news along with it all.

The latest trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi is out and it's got us all sorts of excited.

Movies Anywhere is a new, very consumer friendly movie platform from Disney that you should go set up now.

Google:

- Google's USB-C headphone adapter is now only $9.

- Google bought 60DB. Could mean they are going to take podcast's more seriously.

- The new Pixel Launcher APK is available for devices running 6.0 and higher. It's quite nice.

- Google Home Mini will no longer be listening constantly.

- Google Assistant has some new Halloween tricks.

- AirpodsForGA lets you access Assistant from Airpods on Android.

General Tech:

- Razor is most likely announcing a phone on November 1.

- Alexa can now distinguish between voices.

- 2 new Moto Mods from Amazon and Polaroid coming soon.

- Oculus announced the Go headset.

Security:

- KRACK is a major WiFi vulnerability that effects pretty much any device. Update your device when you can to fix this. Please!

Microsoft:

- The Fall Creators Update is here!

- Redstone 4 is here for insiders.

Gaming:

- New Xbox updates.

- Shadows of War.

- Indie Game Spotlight of the Week: Overgrowth from Wolfire Games.

- Overwatch Halloween Terror: The Return of Junkenstein!

- Sea of Thieves.

Calling All Platforms Tech and Gaming News
We're just a few guys talking about our favorite hobby. And that just happens to be tech! We cover everything from Apple to Google to PC to console gaming. We give viewpoints from all sides.

Tempers can tend to get pretty heated when it comes to technology and platforms. Everyone has a favorite. But here we think that arguing about why we're different doesn't do a whole lot to make us happier. So you've got a favorite platform? Awesome. So do we. But we figure that there's always going to be something worthwhile wherever you choose to check your email, browse your social medias, or play your games, so we try to keep an open mind.

We're not interested in angry rants about the terrible state of various industries, nor are we interested in laying blame for problems squarely at someone's feet. We recognize that in a lot of cases the reason we might not enjoy something is entirely the blame of our own preferences. The only name-calling and platform-bashing you'll see around here will be in good fun, and likely self-inflicted.

We're on a quest to find quality technology wherever we can get it. Sometimes that's an Android smartphone, sometimes it's a Surface or an iMac. In any case, you are welcome to join us.
